Nimitabell in a dash by Clear Vision

Nimitabell is a quaint little town in southern New South Wales [Australia]. The last time I went through this town was in the very early 1990's. The main road is part of the Cooma to Bega / Bombala road which travels straight through the middle of the town. The town’s layout appears not to have changed much but houses are gradually going up on both sides of the main through fare.

At the southern end is the BBQ / Picnic area. Towards the northern end is the ANZAC Memorial in a little park. To the side of this is the caravan/ tent sights area.

In between you have various shops selling their wears. The Post office, the bakery, a cafe or two. There is a tourist gift shop and also an art gallery.

North of the ANZAC Memorial is one piece of property that catches the eye - an old railway carriage is a home. The position of this home makes sense as behind the parks are the disused railway lines.

Nimitabel is a good little place to stop off and enjoy the lesiure of having a rest.
